Twitter's chairman reached out after Musk's SEC filing; Musk told him drastic action was needed and a take-private was coming.
Taylor: Given the SEC filing, would like to speak asap to coordinate communications. Call asap when you are back.
Musk: Please expect a take private offer. Fixing Twitter by chatting with Parag won't work, drastic action is needed. This is hard to do as a public company, as purging fake users will make the numbers look terrible, so restructuring should be done as a private company. This is Jack's opinion too.
