I think Marc is just referring to the fact that it’s a silly acronym.
You can’t really study “technology” and all science/engineering requires “math”.
People should study engineering. That is the closest thing to magic that exists in the real world.
I studied physics out of curiosity about the nature of the universe, but with many engineering classes mixed in.

Ngl it’s been tough for immigrants the past few days.
Many of us have given it all to the country we love and feel saddened by feeling like we’re not welcome.

The worst culprit by far is Cognizant who got almost 7,000 H-1B visas approved in 2024

America has had the #1 GDP since the late 1800s. The next 100 years GDP will be driven by AI, space, robotics, biotech, manufacturing, new energy, and other advanced tech. But, within 1-2 generations we will lose this war if we don’t continue to have the best and brightest here.
