the one thing about having a child that has surprised me is the return of the love. my kid really loves me. he really does, he's empathetic and cares about me. if i look stressed, he notices and tries to cheer me up. even when he was younger than a year old
Elon Musk@elonmusk· 16 févr. 2026@AmandaAskell @WSJ You cannot understand my point until you have a child, anymore than someone who has never experienced true love can understand love

HOW THE XAI GROK 4.20 AGENTS WORK
The four agents in Grok 4.20 (Grok/Captain, Harper, Benjamin, Lucas) form a native, production multi-agent collaboration system that runs on every sufficiently complex query. This is not a user-facing framework you have to orchestrate (like

Since the race swap is never the other way around, this is obviously deliberate White erasure.

I can't wait till I can one shot code a complex website or app using Grok. That will radically transform things. We are talking about exponential AI intelligence growth and exponential economic growth.
Elon Musk@elonmusk· 17 févr. 2026@DeryaTR_ The foundations of 4.2 are such that it is able to improve every week, so the recursive intelligence growth will be strong

Now’s not the time for xAI to touch multi agent systems
Hold off a bit,
Understand model attractor states,
Solve continuous learning,
Do a great job with memory,
Stay under the radar,
short of SOTA
Be comfortable as the clown
for a few years
And you’ll return to win it all

Michael Wheatfill@mwheatfill· 17 févr. 2026@wholemars Oh wow. Sonnet 4.6 and Opus 4.6 with Extended Thinking both failed this.
Grok 4.2 with 4 agents succeeded however.

SpaceX is painfully serious about space data centers. They have a cyclotron to test their flight hardware. It’s not only data center hardware that benefits from this ramp up in testing cadence. But it’s not a huge leap to assume that there will be some data center chips headed

Christian Keil@pronounced_kyle· 17 févr. 2026If you want data centers in space, you need radiation-tolerant chips.
Specifically, chips that survive both:
▸ a cumulative "total ionizing dose" (TID)
▸ bit-flipping, energetic particle strikes (SEE)
The latter is scariest. Google tested its Trillium chips and found that the

Grok 4.2 will be about an order of magnitude smarter and faster than Grok 4 when the public beta concludes next month.
Still many bug fixes and improvements landing every day. The public beta gives us more critical feedback to address.
Aaron Burnett@aaronburnett· 17 févr. 2026we're already using Grok 4.20 (agents) in our research process, from a research perspective it does feel like we jumped another 9.
I'm particularly a fan of the improved sourcing!

ruing technical terms here. Mixture of Experts (MoE) has literally nothing to do with what xAI actually shipped in 4.20.
This isn't one singular model, dense or MoE, with internal routing or sparse experts. It's four separate replicas (instanced) running at once in a quorum-st

Grok is most physically accurate of the four.
Opus rear bike frame makes no sense structurally, there is no connection from pedals to rear wheel, both legs of Pelican are on the right side of the bike and handle bars are disconnected.
