In the Netherlands, an old couple in their 80s committed suicide together to avoid an eviction from their holiday home.
Due to the housing shortage, the couple were staying at their holiday park bungalow.

It's not that the algo is making users more conservative, it's that when you don't have your thumb on the scale forcing liberal content down everyone's throats, and silencing/deplatforming/censoring all other opinions, people naturally shift more conservative -- back to reality.
