I don’t get why they don’t make the Homelink a *software* upgrade? Complicated to install? Expensive licensing fees? I don’t get it. It sucks because this is one of the best Tesla features hands down. My Model 3. same with it, but when I buy a new Performance soon it won’t

Picked up the car and the HomeLink is still not showing on the screen. SC said this has happened before and hopefully it will “fix itself” and show up. 🤷🏻‍♂️ @teslainventory didn’t you get Homelink installed on your Y?

Homelink is 3rd party hardware that increases cost of all cars, but only some people use it, so it’s only installed upon request. Long-term, garage openers are transitioning to WiFi-activated.
