I just heard that @elonmusk told @joerogan he wants to trial patients for Neuralink by next year, and thus begins my campaign to get on either man's radar in order to be a trial patient.
This is exactly the sort of technology that might give chronic pain patients a new life.

Pain can certainly be turned off, but we’re not sure what the best initial test case (max goodness for least risk to patient) would be quite yet
