If @elonmusk had just left his $160 million Paypal payout in $PYPL...it would be worth $21 billion today (133x gain).
Instead, he bet literally every penny on:
• creating the 1st mass-manufacturing car company in the US in a century
• go to Mars

To be frank, in the early days, I thought there was >90% chance that both SpaceX & Tesla would be worth $0. The press & aerospace / automotive industry at the time (correctly) agreed with me.
