I thought the point of Atheism was to escape the alleged intolerant nature of religion.
Yet it seems that Atheists are the most censorious demographic when compared to their religious counterparts.
How did Atheists get to this point?

There seems to be an innate need for religion. Many atheists simply adopt another belief system (eg wokeness) that is essentially a religion.
