Wow! Definitely going to try it.
I did actually play AD&D as a kid with all the dice and paper. It was epic!
BG2 is one of the best games ever. Worth someone redoing that with new graphics and UI. The writing and plot are amazing.

The only crime I did as a kid was to steal a car with my friend to drive to the bookstore to buy a D&D module late at night. I think I was 13 or 14.
We put the car back in its exact original position in perfect condition.
