X has a moral duty to take steps to reduce bots, @elonmusk.
Something has clearly broken in the codebase in recent days,
Now getting pages and pages of these; most w no pic, no followers, just joined, blatantly autogenerated names.
5 minutes of coding could get rid of most.

It is actually extremely difficult to stop bots without affecting real users.
As advanced AI becomes available to anyone, it will become almost impossible.
That is why requiring even a tiny subscription payment massively improves quality of service, as it raises the price of bots by several orders of magnitude.
