People will use this to argue for getting tougher on drugs, in reality this is a consequence of the drug war, where people can’t know what they’re taking.

2mg of fentanyl (~10-15 grains of salt worth) is a lethal dose.

All things considered, it would be better to legalize, regulate and tax drugs, just as we do with alcohol and cigarettes, both of which are drugs that cause millions of deaths every year worldwide.
