It's true. Blue Origin has a massive rocket production facility in Florida where they're building New Glenn rockets. Many key leaders live and work there. I don't have absolute numbers, but I would make a ballpark guess that Blue employees outnumber SpaceX two or three to one.

Newly hired Blue Origin employee to hotel employee: “Yeah, SpaceX has a presence here (KSC/Cape), too, but nothing like Blue.”
