we can make enough GPUs a year to use ~3 gigawatts of power. the earth has ~20,000,000 gigawatts of solar available. even at 10,000x chip production (an inconceivable number) it'll take ~1000 years to use an earths worth of power. long before then we'll move everything offworld.

Your point is that putting solar merely on a small part of the deserts of Earth would power all the AI chips we could conceivably make.
