INT4 is good, way better than INT8. 4 bit is the way.
FP4 is a bit better for both circuits and statistics, but not by much.

Dynamic mixed precision seems to be the best path.
Whatever on average optimizes for the least amount of energy required to flip the least number of gates to achieve the right answer.
