Here’s my math based on the OIG report. If NASA buys the rockets at $875 million and yearly program costs are $325, that would come up with about $3B a year... wait. Is that $875m price per rocket ONLY for the core?!? 🤯

Knowing what we now know about RS-25 engine costs ($146 million each); using Tory’s formula below, the true cost of an SLS launch is about $3.5 billion. I would not doubt it.

I think I could do that, if I wasn’t otherwise occupied. Certainly someone can. But local multiplayer for people in the car, or online multiplayer? I don’t think Minecraft on a Tesla is the best fit in terms of UX but a driving version of Pokémon Go-like mechanics would work.

A little. Will have 31 engines, not 37, no big fins and legs similar to ship. That thrust dome is the super hard part. Raptor SL thrust starts at 200 ton, but upgrades in the works for 250 ton.
