@elonmusk Is there a “sun shade” type of visor, like the “gold” visors on legacy/traditional astronaut suits, on the @SpaceX suits? I don’t recall seeing photos of that on any posted photos of the SpaceX suits. Or are those types only for space walks and moon walks?

It’s made of a special dark foam that’s extremely radio transparent, so as not to affect the phased array antennas. Looks a lot like a car sun visor.

Naked recovered fairings courtesy of GO Ms. Tree who caught one half and GO Ms. Chief who fished out the other half from the Atlantic during AMOS-17 recovery. Maybe Earth Day will bring some extra reuse luck for the #SpaceXFleet and we'll finally see a double catch. #Starlink

Thanks! We are taking some key steps to reduce satellite brightness btw. Should be much less noticeable during orbit raise by changing solar panel angle & all sats get sunshades starting with launch 9.
