Everyone keeps saying we need ventilations. Crazy to think this could make their condition worse. Anything to be done from just quickly sticking people on ventilators?

A mask or nose “ventilator” with moderately increased oxygen % will help. This is common in hospitals. Intubation, where a tube is jammed down your throat under sedation & you’re fed high pressure, pure oxygen for several days to weeks is questionable.

I am a medical resident in Boston and we are still overwhelmed. We have had to significantly expand our ICU capacity across the city and the cases continue to increase. Patients who are mechanically ventilated are often on the ventilator for weeks before being extubated.

My wife is getting furloughed and she works for one of the biggest hospitals in Oklahoma. People that usually saturate hospitals are staying home and doctors aren’t admitting patients that can safely go home.

We’re working super hard on getting traffic lights & stops released. Reverse summon (auto park) will be part of the core Autopilot software upgrade for FSD later this year.

5/ Underuse of frantically-built capacity seems universal. Even @ NYC, Javits Ctr & Navy hospital ship mostly empty wapo.st/34CYPxk Why? Combo of “where did all the other pts go?” & hospitals have improvised (2 pts in ICU built for 1; Covid pts in ORs & recovery rooms)...

It’s insane how quick SN4 is coming together. It makes sense when you build a factory AROUND your rockets (not vice versa), cool to see mass manufacturing taking an early lead in development vs one off prototyping. I hope when it’s closer to done I can get a tour from you 😉

Production is by *far* the hard part. That’s why I’m not super worried about early Starship failures. Initial serial numbers are suboptimal, so would be lawn ornaments if they survived. That said, as lawn ornaments go, they’re pretty sweet …

SN4 won’t get flaps, so can only do flights with engine on. Just did a reset this week on flap, actuator & static aero design. Either SN5 or SN6 will get flaps.
