I don’t get why they don’t make the Homelink a *software* upgrade?
Complicated to install? Expensive licensing fees? I don’t get it.
It sucks because this is one of the best Tesla features hands down.

Homelink is 3rd party hardware that increases cost of all cars, but only some people use it, so it’s only installed upon request. Long-term, garage openers are transitioning to WiFi-activated.

Los Angeles had the cleanest air ever recorded there in March 2020. Astounding chart from the EPA.
This is mostly from reduced driving with the same vehicle fleet. It could be the new normal and ~13 million people living there would be healthier if we electrify transportation.
