Gravity drag is a drag, man 😉 which as you know is why a high TWR can be substantially more beneficial on the booster than specific impulse. You can essentially double your effective dV when you go from 2:1 to 3:1 TWR 👌 which is why I love Merlin so much 😍

Even more important for a a reusable rocket, as cost of propellant actually becomes relevant & anything below T/W of 1 is wasted fuel & oxygen

Starship design goal is 3 flights/day avg rate, so ~1000 flights/year at >100 tons/flight, so every 10 ships yield 1 megaton per year to orbit
