More than 40% of your parenting time has elapsed by the time your kid enters kindergarten.
Once they get into middle school it is 2/3rds gone.

The people that are downplaying the fact that Zohran is running for mayor of the largest city in the US and therefore will have no real power are missing the point entirely.
The point is that increased surface area to people that believe the things Mamdani believes normalizes beliefs that everyone previously thought were extreme.
It’s about more exposure to those beliefs so that more people …

Allowing Grok to control the algorithm and what is ‘interesting’ will probably follow the same paradigm as American talk shows. Everyone is on X, meaning the baser impulses heavily outweigh intellectual content. We will probably see a downward trend of more vulgar content.
Mike Wallace to Donahue to Oprah to Maury Povich to Jerry Springer.
I hope I’m wrong about this. But an AI promoting posts …

You are completely missing the point.
Grok will recommend content to users based on what it thinks that user wants to see, not what users on average want to see.

FSD can see more than you can. Black clad pedestrians crossing unlit streets. Sunny day shadows hiding road debris. The outline of a stopped car in a gray foggy downpour. A stop sign with the sun behind it. A dirty windscreen. This stuff is easier for the car than it is for
Yun-Ta Tsai@yunta_tsai· Oct 18, 2025Imagine the same technique applied to autonomous vehicles.
Human eyes are not capable to capture the details of frosty airflow of Superheavy cryogenic tank and 33 Raptor engine ignition at the same time. They will be blind.
But modern camera sensors can.
That is exactly why

Grok 4 heavy spots a subtle gap in a 1995 published paper! I asked it to numerically verify every step—confirmed correct. But impressively, it noted the proof in the paper skips verifying joint convexity in Lemma 3.

People ask me how I know we will reach the human-to-AI transition point (AGI) by the end of 2026.
First, I have a fairly accurate mental model of the world with a deep understanding of science, technology, industry, finance, politics, and the economy.
Everything I see aligns

If Grok 5 turns out to be better at AI engineering than Andrej Karpathy, I’ll call it — that’s AGI.
Zuck doesn’t need billions to hire an AI researcher anymore.
Andrej mentioned his repos (like nanochat) were entirely handwritten, and claude/codex agents were net unhelpful.
