4. The L5 autonomy and ‘RoboCar’ questions mean there is a lot of investment today, yes. But what consumers will buy will come down to economics - supply side and consumer side. Will Tesla thrive? Unclear. But image processing technology will kill LiDAR.

NVIDIA is a great company, but we needed (essentially) a dedicated ASIC for vision-based driving, whereas their solution needs to serve many different customer needs.

If the numbers are correct & you can make 30k per year, per vehicle for that 10+, then it makes sense to buy a fleet of these vehicles & deploy them as your “employees” & sit back & collect a great deal of passive income.
20 Model 3’s over 10 years would be quite a business.

21 TOPS for Xavier. Pegasus is just Xavier with a power hog GPU on a separate board. Problem is you can’t transfer data fast enough between computer & GPU, so GPU usable TOPS is almost irrelevant.
