I’ve always been a little confused by one aspect of this:
Who looks at a university with an already-existing $20 Billion endowment and decides that’s the best place to put their money?
Steve McGuire@sfmcguire79· 15 окт. 2023 г.Jon Huntsman, in an email to @Penn President Liz Magill, says the “university’s silence in the face of reprehensible and historic Hamas evil against the people of Israel…is a new low.”
“Consequently, Huntsman Foundation will close its checkbook on all future giving to Penn.”

💯
There shouldn’t be endowments at all, as it cuts the university’s feedback loop to reality!
