A headline is circulating this morning that Tesla $TSLA is recalling 1.1 million vehicles. This is typical NHTSA FUD.
Tesla said it will perform an over-the-air software update to solve the issue with the automatic window reversal system.
This is *not* a physical recall.

@elonmusk · 22 сент. 2022 г.
The terminology is outdated & inaccurate. This is a tiny over-the-air software update. To the best of our knowledge, there have been no injuries.

This is Teslas “reply” just minutes after asking for help today. Frustrating, but I wonder how many others are getting the same response, days after “everyone with safety score over 80 gets it”? This is 22 September 2022.

Your car needs a camera upgrade, which is free of charge. There are a few thousand cars in a similar situation. Replacement cameras will be available early next month.

When a group of army ants are separated from the main foraging party, they lose the pheromone track and begin to follow one another: as a result, they might eventually die of exhaustion

Jay Leno on @elonmusk: He lives in a little Airstream trailer on the property (Starbase); There’s no yacht, there’s no huge Goldfinger looking thing, petting a car or any of that nonsense. I think he’s a true genius; It's fun to meet a dreamer who's a practical dreamer. 🚀

Actually, I live in a little house on Weems St that cost ~$50k (but I’ve done a lot with the place!)

Update: Elon Musk told @Teslarati the expansion will accommodate Tesla's plans for an "ecological paradise," but factory must be financially stable first.

Given that the school district is based around the Brooklyn area of Pretoria, doesn't that say quite a bit on its own?
Come on, let's not pretend that it wasn't considered a prestigious school. Or that the average South African during the Apartheid era went to a school like it.
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 21 сент. 2022 г.
Boys High was a good school, but it was government, not private. Brooklyn would be considered a middle income, not exclusive, neighborhood in America.

I want to make clear, I'm defending, not attacking you here. But surely you can admit that if you had grown up as a poor black child in the townships, without access to books or computers (or the ability to move to Canada), your odds of success would have been much lower.
