First @Neuralink product will enable someone with paralysis to use a smartphone with their mind faster than someone using thumbs
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 9 апр. 2021 г.
Later versions will be able to shunt signals from Neuralinks in brain to Neuralinks in body motor/sensory neuron clusters, thus enabling, for example, paraplegics to walk again

even though I don't have paralysis, can I still apply to install the Link, to gain features like playing video games telepathically?

Shock absorption is built into tower arms. Since tower is ground side, it can use a lot more mass to arrest booster downward momentum.

🚨SUPER HEAVY LAUNCH & CATCH TOWER!
A new FAA filling confirms that SpaceX is planning to build a Launch/Catch tower for Super Heavy Booster, the tower will be located at SpaceX's Boca Chica Launch site.
We can't wait to see what the future holds! 🚀

Probably J&J, but BioNtech & Moderna are good too. Some debate imo as to whether a second synthetic mRNA shot is really needed, but the first is a no-brainer.

When you said you weren’t getting it since you had Covid was that because you don’t want it, or you think someone else would benefit more since you have some immunity to it already?

To be clear, I do support vaccines in general & covid vaccines specifically. The science is unequivocal.
In very rare cases, there is an allergic reaction, but this is easily addressed with an EpiPen.

What about the Starship itself? Landing legs or catching with tower as well?
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 7 апр. 2021 г.
Ideal scenario imo is catching Starship in horizontal “glide” with no landing burn, although that is quite a challenge for the tower! Next best is catching with tower, with emergency pad landing mode on skirt (no legs).

If I saw this in a movie, I would think, "Neat in concept - but it'd never work." Absolutely genius engineering. SpaceX is *literally* turning science fiction to reality. @elonmusk

Starship booster, largest flying object ever designed, will be caught out of sky by launch tower. Big step forward, as reflight can be done in under an hour.
