Just battery day, but it will be great. Plaid powertrain will be later this year.

Was that the plan all along or delayed due to the pandemic? Either way, super excited for both events. Thanks!

There’s a lot to talk about just on the battery front, so, yeah, just that. I guess we could answer some powertrain questions in Q&A.

Functionality still looking good for this year. Regulatory approval is the big unknown.

Until @Tesla or @elonmusk tells me what this camera is doing for me I'm shutting them out. It SHOULD be used with Sentry Mode, but it's not at this time. When it has a purpose that serves me I'll slide it back open. Here's what I used of you want to join: amzn.to/2WHM6UX

It’s not turned on. Meant for vandalism monitoring in a robotaxi future. Also, the car has transparent windows, so spying has limited value.

This is most likely for Robotaxis, if they vandalize your car, it's on camera and they'll pay for the damage and possibly get charge criminally.

Gas cars make you and your kids stupid.
Breathing exhaust actually makes you more stupid.
I’m not kidding, they have done studies comparing people who live next to freeways to others who don’t.

I wish @Rogozin would listen to you (or objected if he did not agree), but unfortunately, he takes your words as " instructions from Washington." This is sad, because I would really like to see a real discussion about reusability between the two of you.
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 11 апр. 2020 г.
In the future, it will be as strange to have expendable rockets as it would be to have expendable airplanes today. All will be reusable.

They do from time to time. But (I don't understand why) Dmitry Rogozin thinks that the vertical landing is suitable only to land a booster on the drone ship, and since we have no ocean to land, we can use only landing on an airfield. For example: newizv.ru/news/tech/31-1…
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 11 апр. 2020 г.
Strange, as SpaceX lands on land frequently. Russia has very talented engineers, but they must be given reusability as goal or success is impossible.

Good talking to one of Africa’s golden sons @elonmusk of @Tesla on #COVID19 mitigation efforts in #Africa. I appreciate his foresight in looking across continents to lend support in these times. Looking forward to working together and witnessing his inventiveness.
