Tesla’s action is not directly reflective of my opinion. Having some Bitcoin, which is simply a less dumb form of liquidity than cash, is adventurous enough for an S&P500 company.

To be clear, I am *not* an investor, I am an engineer. I don’t even own any publicly traded stock besides Tesla.
However, when fiat currency has negative real interest, only a fool wouldn’t look elsewhere.
Bitcoin is almost as bs as fiat money. The key word is “almost”.

"I'm surprised that Elon's so gung-ho on Doge coin," says Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance, world’s largest #cryptocurrency exchange by volume, which launched futures for $DOGE. But he notes that @elonmusk's Tesla bet $1.5 billion on #Bitcoin, not Dogecoin trib.al/mKN4s9v

SpaceX in south Texas & Tesla in central have been providing direct assistance where feasible (eg save cold turtles & help power the water treatment plant). Please let us know if we may be helpful in other ways.

Hey @vladtenev (CEO of @RobinhoodApp)
Remember that time @elonmusk asked you to explain why you put a halt on trading for Gamestop stock, Dogecoin, and a few others?
No more dodging DOGE questions and hiding behind scripted answers...
WE DEMAND TRANSPARENCY!

If the top whale wallet is Robinhood then I think #Dogecoin has a clear trajectory to the moon
However, until that information is absolutely confirmed and accepted by the community at large then we cannot say or know for sure #DogecoinRise

Maybe @elonmusk and @SpaceX can send volunteers and/or donations to help the turtles on their neighboring Boca Chica Beach. We have at least 20 in our truck and plenty of others have already loaded up and are heading back to Sea Turtle Inc.

Develop a new #ElonCoin, offer them to the existing non-major #dogecoin holders to void their wallet. You wouldn’t need to pay $ to make those majors dogecoin holders richer than they already are and allocate your time and support to make the ElonCoin the currency of the Earth.

Although the price may not reflect it right now, @ElonMusk's ultimatum is good for #Dogecoin
It shows that his jokes aren't just jokes, and that he legitimately sees Dogecoin's potential as being the leading currency of the internet.
He wants #DOGE to succeed. Fate loves irony.

If major Dogecoin holders sell most of their coins, it will get my full support. Too much concentration is the only real issue imo.

Whales will have to consider Elon's ultimatum here.
If they comply, #Dogecoin becomes the currency of the internet.
If they don't, or "cheat" by distributing their coins across multiple wallets, then it loses Elon's endorsement.
Easy decision for the whales. Do the right thing
