The first continent in world history to have a movement against slavery was Europe. The second was North America.
Europeans didn’t start slavery. They ended it.

The diversity of opinions and dialogue I’ve seen on X regarding the Israel/Hamas conflict would not have occurred under Twitter 1.0
There would have been mass suspensions, link suppression, ideological censorship, you name it
While some of the discussions are difficult, I

This is why we should not allow children going through an identity crisis to make permanent decisions that they may later regret.
Once they are adults, they are far better able to make decisions that they are likely to be happy with long-term.

Let me get this straight:
No more Columbus Day because slavery and stealing land and yada yada yada
So instead they celebrate tribes that were sacrificing children, eating human flesh, stealing land, and owning slaves when Columbus arrived

Most people don’t know much history.
Slavery was standard practice almost everywhere on Earth since humans existed. Only last century was it made rare.

Would be cool if AI suggested which posts have gotten the most attention historically, and then gave you a one-click “add to my highlights tab” @elonmusk
Elon Musk@elonmusk· 8 окт. 2023 г.Remember to add your notable posts to your “Highlights” tab. This is a good way to surface your replies that are otherwise buried deep in a conversation chain.
Soon, when you pin a post, it will automatically be added to your highlights as a convenience.
