Lars on Cybertruck: The vehicle almost floats; and if you’re creative you could figure out how to put an outboard motor plugged in to your outlet there turn it on from your screen and go boating.

We are going to offer a mod package that enables Cybertruck to traverse at least 100m of water as a boat.
Mostly just need to upgrade cabin door seals.

When the 2024 American Made Index rankings come out, the Cybertruck will likely be in the top 10, maybe even top 5. This would mean Tesla would be the only US based automaker to have a truck in the top 25.
The F-150 Lightning ranks 38th.
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt· 18 дек. 2023 г.Jay Leno: For some reason people don’t think of Tesla as an American company. These (Cybertrucks) are all built in America.
Lars: I can’t think of one part that’s not made here (in America).

@elonmusk what is your criteria on responding to posts these days? Curious if it is just funny things, maybe things that help the brands of your companies, or maybe its just impulsive like, that was good or funny.

BREAKING: Video from a contact on the ground in Eagle Pass, TX right now shows a mass of thousands of migrants waiting to be processed by Border Patrol after they crossed illegally today. I’ve spent hundreds of days there over the last 2+ years and I’ve never seen it like this.

In Europe, people are going about their lives like everything's normal. But everything's not normal. Quite the contrary: the continent is on the cusp of a new dark age. If the European Commission gets its way, accessing the free Internet may become illegal, like it is in China.

Red Sea is now largely closed to traffic. That's 8.8 million bpd of daily oil transit, and nearly 380 million tons of daily cargo transit.
Global traffic now will be rerouted around Cape of Good Hope, adding 40% to voyage distance (and even more to cost)
