A union is just another corporation. Far better for many companies to compete for your skills, so that you have maximum optionality.

Use of the word “billionaire” as a pejorative is morally wrong & dumb 😛

Sounds reasonable to me. Might need to raise the age to 25, though. Auto Insurance rates drop for 25 year-olds indicating less risk. Could be similar for automatic weapon ownership.

Maybe just require homicide insurance for a gun purchase? Minimum car insurance, which is basically homocide insurance, is required for car ownership.

Great idea but one problem, Elon. You can join the military at 18.
Perhaps a solution to that problem is to make the age to join the military at 21.

In truth, anti-gun activists seek severe restrictions on, and oppose in concept, any individual civilian RIGHT to own ANY firearm, even though it is an inalienable right specifically recognized in the U.S. Constitution under the Second Amendment. This is the debate.

How about a middle ground, where the licensing standard for semi-auto rifles is a driver’s license, age 21 and no rap sheet?
Basically, what is a reasonable way to make it harder for people with homicidal impulses to obtain body count maximizing weapons?

Assault rifles should at minimum require a special permit, where the recipient is extremely well vetted imo
