Each human review is based on Twitter rules that define spam and platform manipulation, and uses both public and private data (eg, IP address, phone number, geolocation, client/browser signatures, what the account does when it’s active…) to make a determination on each account.

What I found when I went to visit the "small non-profit" activist group that's been attacking @elonmusk
Turns out it doesn't actually exist.

The @elonmusk phenomenon:
Take anything, and I mean anything whatsoever, relate it to Elon/Tesla in any way possible—> generate 5 to 10x more impressions/clicks for your advert.
This tweet is ironically proof of that.

You are right it’s guessing what you want to see but you will only see your following under chronological. I’ve noticed you are only interacting with who you are following now. Hope you go back and forth.

Elon Musk@elonmusk· 27 апр. 2022 г.For Twitter to deserve public trust, it must be politically neutral, which effectively means upsetting the far right and the far left equally

I’m not suggesting malice in the algorithm, but rather that it’s trying to guess what you might want to read and, in doing so, inadvertently manipulate/amplify your viewpoints without you realizing this is happening
Elon Musk

Not to mention potential bugs in the code. Open source is the way to go to solve both trust and efficacy.

Very important to fix your Twitter feed:
1. Tap home button.
2. Tap stars on upper right of screen.
3. Select “Latest tweets”.
You are being manipulated by the algorithm in ways you don’t realize.
Easy to switch back & forth to see the difference.

Twitter is like the Lotus Elise body you used for the original Tesla Roadster. It will be a painful transformation. It would be better to start a new platform from scratch, and cheaper too.

There is some chance it might be over 90% of daily active users, which is the metric that matters to advertisers.
Very odd that the most popular tweets of all time were only liked by ~2% of daily active users.

Pranay Pathole@PPathole· 14 мая 2022 г.If you scroll through the followers list of Twitter for 10 seconds you'll at least find 3 or 4 accounts appear to be scam/spam/fake/bot accounts. Now, imagine scaling that by total number of Twitter followers, which is around 62 million. Certainly more than 5%. @elonmusk
Elon Musk

Exactly. I have yet to see *any* analysis that has fake/spam/duplicates at <5%.
