Have you heard of the Drinking Bleach hoax? Replies didn't fix that. Or any other hoax.

If Twitter can tell the difference between real and fake users, why does it allow these in our comments?

Agreed. Permanent ban increased division, resentment, and hate in the world, not decreased it. It just moved it off the platform. Conversation is the only thing we have to heal the division and celebrate our common humanity.

There's a minimum age to run for democracy, why not have maximum age too?! For a good functioning democracy maximum age should be considered, the leaders must be reasonably in touch with the bulk of the population.

Didn’t occur to founders of USA that people would live so long, so they put in age minimums (for wisdom), but not age maximums (for … 😴)

The whole notion of being “left wing” or “right wing” is silly.
Almost no one initially agrees with the semi-random collection of policies associated with each wing.
They only support those policies *after* they join the left or right mind tribe.

Some mantras for political thinking:
Truth is hard.
Humility is hard.
Independent thinking is hard.
Resisting tribalism is hard.
Over and over, you will forget that these things are hard, and that's probably when you'll fail at them.

Interesting comments from @elonmusk in FT interview, casually mentions if earth's economy was 10x larger (hello Tesla Bot!), you could still power the entire thing on Solar, Wind, Batteries and Electric Transport.
(this is not news to anyone who's done the math)
