Elon Musk turning the media from communist sympathizers to staunch defenders of free speech overnight is one of the most incredible things I have ever seen 🤣

5 arrested at the #Antifa autonomous zone in south Atlanta hit w/domestic terrorism charges. Police found a cache of explosives. Leading up to the raid, militants tried to burn a man to death in a car. Their group is using Twitter to raise cash, @elonmusk. thepostmillennial.com/andy-ngo-repor…

Interesting that the strongest result is for treating the corporate media the same as everyone else. I suspect this is why they’re acting so hysterically right now.

The mainstream media can’t risk covering #TwitterFiles. If they admit rampant collusion between govt agencies and Twitter, they’ll have to inquire about Facebook, YouTube, Apple, Google. The whole censorship regime would unravel. Better to pretend nothing’s happening! @elonmusk

To be clear, all user actions will factor into a NN model for a tweet and the account tweeting, including positive actions.
As user accounts develop credibility, their actions will have greater weight, similar to how @CommunityNotes works.

There is a 3,000 word Wikipedia page titled "Thursday Night Massacre" because a bunch of people got suspended from Twitter for 18 hours.

This has the potential to be abused by foreign intelligence agencies to weaponize accounts they control against dissidents. Also has the potential to be abused by totalitarian cults like Scientology against opponents.

If a group of accounts engages in “brigading”, the entire group of accounts will get a credibility score of zero, so their actions will be ineffective

No one’s really brought this up to you yet but it’s worth mentioning that numerous conservatives are on widely shared blocklists used by the far left. This could cause many on the right to have their voices suppressed.
Elon Musk

If an account engages in large-scale blocking, the value of a block signal from that account will trend to zero

People saying that @elonmusk needs to refocus on Tesla and stop with Twitter clearly haven't seen what he has done in the past 5 years for $tsla. Tesla fundamentals are solid and will be fine once we get through these macroeconomic headwinds.

Did any of those journalists show even a tiny bit of sympathy to Elon over a masked psychopath attacking his family? No, because they cannot allow themselves to lose control of the narrative, and they sure as hell aren’t going to let Elon or his family be seen as victims.

I've never seen an orgy of hypocrisy quite as brazen as how the exact same media corporations and journalists who spent years demanding more Big Tech censorship turned *overnight* into free speech champions: because now it's their friends being silenced rather than their enemies.
