Speaking of schools, spent time w/kids recently and - not making this up - 14 year olds are being told climate change is going to end the world as we know it and essentially nothing can be done. Literally breeding doomers. Couldn't be dumber. Who decided we should do this?

Lithium ore is quite common throughout the world. The limiting factor is lithium refining.
Same goes for the cathode, which is primarily iron (medium range cars) or nickel (long range) and the anode, which is carbon. Refining matters more than ore.

The goal of most auto manufacturers is to figure out how to wind down their businesses. I’ve been saying this about GM for quite a while. Others are starting to follow GM’s lead. The words they say to the media is to keep stockholders from fleeing all at once.
