To get a sense of how large Biden wants to grow our IRS.
@ElonMusk’s Tesla has about 70,000 employees.
@Apple has around 154,000 globally.
Biden wants our IRS to have 170,000 employees.
An increase of 87,000 supposedly to monitor the 614 billionaires in America.

The IRS already has dedicated audit teams for high net worth individuals.
The doubling of staff is for everyone else.

What do you use for news
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 21 нояб. 2021 г.
I bounce around WSJ, NYT, BBC, Bloomberg, WaPo & twitter generally.
Better to follow individual journalists than publications, as there is a wide range of quality.

Starship SSTO payloads:
- will be competitive in the small- to heavy-lift low orbit launch market, launching cubesats, large satellite constellations, and even International Space Station resupply missions!
- can be made into a crewed vehicle for suborbital and orbital launches
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 21 нояб. 2021 г.
We are on the wrong planet for SSTO. On Mars, it is thankfully easy.

Starship, but it’s an SSTO…
This fully reusable single stage Starship can put up to 35t into Low Earth Orbit, allowing it to compete well in the small- to heavy-lift low orbit launch market.
Launch simulation by @Phrankensteyn below and specs in the thread.
#SpaceX #Starship
Aeneas@Phrankensteyn· 20 нояб. 2021 г.@StarshipFairing has quite ambitious plans for Starship. Something like an SSTO. Is that even possible? Maybe, when some additional improvements made for Raptor and some more mass is shaven of Ship itself. 100x200 km insertion + spare for circularization.

When @elonmusk was asked about making motorcycles, he said no because he was almost killed by a truck on his motorcycle when he was 17..
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 20 нояб. 2021 г.
Unfortunately, there is just no way to make a motorcycle safe. Motorcyclist deaths per mile are ~29 times higher than car occupants.

Daimler bought a 10% stake in Tesla for $50 million in 2009.
In 2009, Daimler was 75 times more valuable than Tesla.
Daimler had sold all of its shares for less than a billion dollars in 2014.
Today, Tesla’s worth $1.1 trillion or 10 times more valuable than Daimler.

The Falcon 9 puts on a beautiful show day or night! The next @SpaceX launch is the DART mission (Nov. 23rd, 10:21 P.M. PT) for NASA which will intentionally crash into an asteroid to test our capabilities to redirect them.

The fact that the Tesla was able to see cars, lane lines, even other cars brake lights while it was pouring raining (Actually it was hard too see them in person) makes me think that Tesla is solving Vision and the super human Driver is closer than we all think. @elonmusk

One of the improvements to FSD vision involves training with actual photon counts, so removing the filters used to make pictures pretty to the human eye

Apologies, we will take measures to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
