Very cool. Starlink mobile is a game changer on the road
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt· 8 авг. 2026 г.Looks like Tesla has maybe unveiled their new Starlink dish integration on the Cybercab (first photo)?
While Starlink dishes have been spotted on Cybercabs before (second photo), this is the first time we’ve seen this gold cover & flush mounting. Definitely a seamless

All cars will have Starlink in the future.
It’s the only way to get super high bandwidth to billions of vehicles.

AI agentic Internet traffic will obviously VASTLY exceed human usage. Not a close call at all.
Cloudflare’s forecast is accurate.
Aaron Burnett@aaronburnett· 9 авг. 2026 г.For context, Global bandwidth is somewhere between 2-8 Pbps (2,000-8,000 Tbps) depending on if your measuring fiber public backhaul (like international fiber) or all public and private connections.
100,000 V3 Starlinks equals 100 Pbps 10x-50x the total bandwidth available

Hitler was a far-left socialist
Therefore, socialists are Hitler
Inescapable logic 😂
Brivael Le Pogam@brivael· 9 авг. 2026 г.On a réussi le plus gros scam idéologique du XXe siècle : coller Hitler dans la case « extrême droite ».
Prenez l’intégralité du programme économique nazi (pas les citations sorties de leur contexte) :
- contrôle des prix et des salaires
- planification industrielle massive

A lot of people on the right like to blame the rise of DSA on white socialists.

I think Elon means Starship will put 100,000 V3 Starlink satellites into orbit, up from ~10,000 V2 satellites today launched via Falcon 9, and because each V3 satellite has ~10x more downlink capacity, having ~10x more satellites would result in ~100x more total bandwidth.
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 9 авг. 2026 г.
Yes, I expect the Starlink total constellation size, inclusive of direct-to-cell, to exceed 100k.
Future versions of our satellites may exceed 50X the throughput of a V2, making the total system bandwidth even higher.

All year long we heard “we’ll get to the SAVE America Act when we have time,” realizing it would likely take a few weeks.
We waited patiently while fully funding DHS and addressing other priorities, expecting to return to it when time allowed.
It’s now August, and we’ve already

Congrats @DavidMoss on being the first Tesla owner to cross 25,000 miles on the FSD streak counter! That's equivalent to one full lap around Earth, or two years of driving for the average American. Pretty wild.

Christmas Eve 2008. Tesla closed a funding round in the final hour, days from bankruptcy.
Elon Musk put in all his money & assets, borrowed from friends just to pay rent. If it missed, payroll would have bounced two days after Christmas.
