Paying taxes in California
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 21 февр. 2022 г.
I’m pretty sure I’ve paid the most taxes of any individual ever to California, but it isn’t obvious what is done with the money

Surely it is self correcting in a generation or five? People who want to have children above replacement even in the face of modern civilization will, almost axiomatically, eventually become a greater % of the population
But in the meantime: civilizational complexity collapse :(

Rather than correcting itself, the lower birth rate trend appears to be accelerating

So …@Tesla @elonmusk I live 2 1/2 hours away from GF TX and am a $TSLA 🪑HODLer … and a big fan (obv) … oh, and a Cybertruck reservation holder.
How can I get tickets to the April 7 Gigafest.
Will even wear my official Don’t Mess With Tesla belt buckle.

Tesla owners in the greater Giga Texas area will get priority, so yes

.@elonmusk Could 3/Y owners with Acceleration Boost upgrade get Track Mode or at least a traction control disable function? Would be helpful for some of us who want to track our cars. Thanks🙏

How can I feel good about bringing kids into the world given climate change? They’re going to suffer badly. :(

She still owes an apology for spreading lies tho. She funded a Facebook ad campaign basically claiming that Elon doesn't pay taxes and asked her supporters for money. She owes him an apology.

The only reason I didn’t pay federal tax in 2018 is because I *overpaid* in 2017! Since they stole my tax records, they actually know that.

Will visit IRS next time I’m in DC just to say hi, since I paid the most taxes ever in history for an individual last year. Maybe I can have a cookie or something …

Not much evidence of it, but I'm sure there are signs of life buried somewhere! There are still smart people and resources that could be deployed better if leadership decided to.

Hey @Twitter, I’m not like a bot expert or anything… but how about requiring some kind of additional verification / checks if there’s suddenly 100s of accounts with identical photos, names & profiles?… I mean, that seems like a good place to start 🤷♂️ this stuff is ridiculous 🤦♂️

Depends mostly on FAA certification, but hopefully within 6 months.
We’re testing on Gulfstreams to debug issues, but deployment priority is commercial airliners.
