The birth rate you see in the West is the BLENDED number of ~90% who have a fertility rate half that of replacement and ~10% who have a birth rate double that of replacement.

Immigration is the meta-issue because it determines who will get to decide every other issue. It must be the top priority. No other issue is even close to it in importance. Vote for whoever credibly promises closed borders and remigration. We’ll work out everything else later.

To add my tuppence to the “rapidly reusable” heat shield debate; one advantage SpaceX has is that they don’t have astronauts on board Starship so can take risks that were unacceptable with the Shuttle; they can refly a heat shield with some damage, like we saw on S40, just to see
