I noticed great improvements with the rain neural net few months back( was reverted with general release of v10) Is this deep rain?

@elonmusk · 14 окт. 2019 г.
It is actually called deep rain, as sort of a joke at Tesla. Takes a surprising amount of deep learning to know when & how fast to move the wipers.

@tesla @elonmusk Need to adjust sensitivity of wipers. Very late response to the rain when left in AUTO mode. Software upgrades keep messing up wipers and Lo/Hi beam light’s sensitivity. Please take a look into it. Not that it is very very important..Just FIO to look into it. Thx

Deep Rain™️ neural net coming soon. We’re not trademarking any other Autopilot neural nets, just this one, because rain is deep.

Any chance we can get the white loading screen in the web browser change to something darker at night?
It's blinding when loading TeslaWaze on a dark road!

What do you think of the Tesla pickup drawings that are going around? Some are really bad

Cybertruck doesn’t look like anything I’ve seen bouncing around the Internet. It’s closer to an armored personnel carrier from the future.

@elonmusk is there a road map for FSD features roll out in australia? We are still waiting on Navigate on Autopilot and Smart Summon. With the proposed price increase on Nov1, can we expect some of it rolled out by then ??
Thanks for everything that u do.

The unfortunate thing is other journos will band together and defend each other when one of them is called out. Becomes another Us vs. Them game. Calling out Russ for his bias shouldn’t be a threat to other journos. Only the similarly biased ones, who claim to be impartial.

Depends on total system efficiency & how long the propellant plant can run to refill Starship, so 1 to 10MW as a rough guess

How big of a solar field will it take to run an ISRU plant on Mars? Will the first couple starships be mostly packed with solar / batteries / ISRU gear? Would you run nuclear for ISRU / colony power if given the opportunity?
