Orbital Launch no. 111 of 2021🇺🇸🚀🇺🇸🛰️🛰️➕
Starlink L31 | SpaceX | Nov 13 | 0719 ET
@SpaceX #Falcon9 will launch the 1st batch of #Starlink satellites in the 4th group (phase 4) to 53.2° inclination orbit expanding the network coverage to high latitude regions.

Inter-satellite laser communications means Starlink can carry data at speed of light in vacuum all around Earth before touching ground.
Over time, some amount of communication can simply be from one user terminal to another without touching the Internet.

When Eberhard was fired from the Tesla CEO role for providing false information to the board, no one left with him. That says it all.

You won’t believe what’s happening 😳 that’s right!!! I’m exporting a FULL draft of the “Entire Soviet Engine Family Tree” for review. We still have a few small errors & tweaks, but it’s 1:33:34 of straight up rocket goodness! Patrons/YouTube members, review drops tomorrow!

Wow. Was it hard to remove him?

Once the board was presented with the evidence of Eberhard’s deception/fraud & the dire state of the company, all board members, including those he appointed, voted unanimously to fire him in August 2007.

He came damn close to killing Tesla through a combination of bad management decisions, driving out talented people, bad engineering, major blunders in supply chain & an elaborate deception about the true cost & schedule of the Tesla Roadster.

Founding story of Tesla as portrayed by Eberhard is patently false. I wish I had never met him.
Eberhard is by far the worst person I’ve ever worked with in my entire career. Given how many people I’ve worked with over the years, that’s really saying something …

STATIC FIRE and wow! Ship 20 fires up, with thrust this time, for a multi-engine test at SpaceX Starbase.
(Ship 20 has three sea-level Raptors and three RVacs. Hopefully, @elonmusk will tweet some info!)

#FSDBeta for Canada ?
Elon Musk

No guarantees, but maybe next month. Requires quite a lot of incremental testing & code tweaks for different road system in Canada.

I hope they’re able to achieve high production & breakeven cash flow. That is the true test.
There have been hundreds of automotive startups, both electric & combustion, but Tesla is only American carmaker to reach high volume production & positive cash flow in past 100 years.

And that is a very tiny fraction of the ~4 megatons of mass that the sun converts to energy every second

Interestingly, however, average power density of the sun is comparable to a compost heap (humans are more power dense than the sun) – it is just very, very big

Lastly, it's important to note that Elons wealth really is on paper. It only becomes cash when he sells. Long term, it's Elons goal to extend the light of consciousness beyond Earth and make life multi-planetary. He will (partly) use his Tesla stock to pay for that.

As described in The Moon is a Harsh Mistress (great book), a linear accelerator would be great for the moon.
Earth’s gravity is too high & atmosphere too dense for accelerators to be a good solution vs reusable boosters imo.
