If you took the amount of sunlight that hits the Earth in 1 second & converted it into matter, how much would it weigh? The mass captured as sunlight per second is 2 kg: humankind is only using about 1/10,000 of that amount for its total energy consumption buff.ly/3dRZFNB

And that is a very tiny fraction of the ~4 megatons of mass that the sun converts to energy every second

0 (zero) is the most important number ever invented in mathematics. It enables algebra and calculus and thus physics, computing, and engineering. Also, philosophically, it helps us come to grips with the idea of nothingness.

So yeah, NASA, this is exactly how you amp up public interest in what you're doing. Publish ground tracks and expected viewing areas next time, please. The Coast Guard will handle boats.

This is from a 2014 paper. LFP battery cells were priced above NMC. Battery volume went to NMC. Now the opposite is true and it wouldn't be surprising to see incremental volume come from LFP.

The Starship fleet is designed to achieve over 1000 times more payload to orbit than all other rockets on Earth combined.
Almost no one understands this.

What’s perhaps most crazy is a single Starship / SuperHeavy launch could put everything launched in that quarter into orbit in a single launch… now that’s impressive.

Actually, 41 tons for SpaceX in Q3 & aiming for 80 tons in Q4. That said, China launch mass to orbit is extremely impressive.

Whether or not the world’s wealthiest man pays any taxes at all shouldn’t depend on the results of a Twitter poll. It’s time for the Billionaires Income Tax.
Elon Musk@elonmusk· 6 нояб. 2021 г.Much is made lately of unrealized gains being a means of tax avoidance, so I propose selling 10% of my Tesla stock.
Do you support this?
