Tips on 𝕏 would be awesome and would also be a really cool way to facilitate smaller 𝕏 creators who don’t fit the current monetization parameters to get paid for posting great content. 🔥

Super Important to Support Creators!
If you can afford it, please subscribe to as many creators on this platform as you find interesting.
People from every corner of the world post incredible content on 𝕏, but often live in tough circumstances, where even a few hundred dollars a month changes their life.
While we had previously said that 𝕏 would keep nothing for the 12 months, then 10%, we are amending that policy to 𝕏 keeps nothing forever, until payout exceeds $100k, then 10%. First 12 months is still free for all.
Apple does take 30%, but I will speak with @tim_cook and see if that can be adjusted to be just 30% of what 𝕏 keeps in order to maximize what creators receive.

Wikipedia arguably does more to shape people's reputations and the perception of political controversies than almost any other single site.
We've been working for a long time to demonstrate how exactly it's degraded into blunt political propaganda:
x.com/SystemUpdate_/…
System Update@systemupdate_· 1 авг. 2023 г.@Wikipedia To take one particularly obscene example, the page devoted to Joe/Hunter Biden's scandalous business deals in Ukraine—now substantiated by mountains of evidence—can be found under the headline:
Biden-Ukraine conspiracy theory.
It reads like desperate DNC propaganda.

@elonmusk · 2 авг. 2023 г.
This is a major problem.
Also, it seems that the real purpose of many legacy media orgs is simply to provide “official media citations” that support a politically biased Wiki page.
Where do you even find physical magazines or newspapers these days –the scroll reliquary!?

oing to be just about tweeting anymore. So, we can’t just tie the action of posting to the product name. It’s moving towards payments, streaming videos, messaging - a whole new ball game. And frankly, I’m stoked to see a different spin on things compared to WhatsApp and iMessage

Exactly. If successful, X will enter the vernacular in ways that we don’t yet know.

“Posted on X”
“Paid on X”
“Drunk texted my X gf”

I also hadn't known that California's grid now reaches 85% renewable generation (even in winter), and spends much of almost every day >50%. (63% at time of writing this tweet.)

@elonmusk · 2 авг. 2023 г.
Indeed, many parts of the world are reaching high peak levels of renewable energy production!
Due to the obviously intermittent nature of wind and solar power, the limiting factor for renewable energy growth is increasingly stationary battery packs at utility scale.
