With nearly 25% of Congress over the age of 70, should there be age limits or cognitive tests?
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 28 июл. 2023 г.
A basic cognitive test should be required for passing legislation that affects 330M people or making world-changing executive decisions

Pretty funny how financial types don't understand the concept of long-term R&D investment.
To them, R&D investment is "lost money".
It only becomes "lost" if/when you give up on the whole product concept.
But that has not happened.

How the “Proximal Origin” authors’ emails & slack messages aren’t plastered across the NYTtimes etc goes to show how corrupted these big media outlets are. It should be one of the biggest stories of the year:

Rand Paul cautions against impeaching Biden:
"It’s not good for the republic to keep impeaching presidents and indicting presidents. Democrats are destroying the fabric of our republic. We have to be careful not to fall into the same trap.”
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 28 июл. 2023 г.
is right that we need to stop impeaching and indicting presidents, unless our republic would otherwise be endangered, which is not the case at this moment.

Video games are fine! Studies measuring real players playing games find small to no effects.
In fact, gaming is correlated with slightly higher happiness & (in a small study) families who gamed together were happier.
And there is no link between violent games & real aggression.

If they didn’t, Ernst & Young feared they would be retaliated against by the government.
