Shameless: the infamous $4,500 "UAW bribe" in the "Build Back Better Act" (H.R. 5376) excludes employee-owned US car factories, such as Tesla, even if they form a union (!).
It defines "Domestic Assembly Qualifications" in a way that requires 50%+ non-shareholder employees...

Let’s talk: It isn’t as complicated as Falcon Heavy, but too much at stake to not at least have a conversation. I can be on the next flight to you. Throw me out if you don’t like what you hear!

The media unfortunately never covers how much money @elonmusk and @tesla have made their employees through stock options because it doesn’t fit their BS narratives. Same with politicians. There are tons of millionaires within Tesla now because how well the stock/company has done.
WHAT'S INSIDE?@whatsinside· 31 окт. 2021 г.Sooooo. Even if Tesla employees formed a union, consumers would still NOT get the tax credit because Elon gives stock to his employees. Still confused why highest levels of government don’t support what Tesla is doing in America.

By definition, since I own ~20% of Tesla, ~80% of stock gains necessarily went to investors & employees!

If WFP can describe on this Twitter thread exactly how $6B will solve world hunger, I will sell Tesla stock right now and do it.

But it must be open source accounting, so the public sees precisely how the money is spent.

Fact check:
🔹 2% of @elonmusk's wealth is $6B
🔹 In 2020 the UN World Food Program (WFP) raised $8.4B. How come it didn't "solve world hunger"?

This was on Oct 30, 2010, exactly 11 yrs ago, when Tesla acquired the Fremont factory. How fast things have moved in this relatively short amount of time. @tesla @elonmusk
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 31 окт. 2021 г.
Indeed. The factory was empty at the time, stripped of all equipment that wasn’t worth even its scrap value. But we salvaged what was left & fixed up the old machines so some could work again.

This line is not anti-Tesla, but anti-American. The Biden administration wants to force tens of thousands of Tesla employees in the US to abandon the lucrative working conditions for them, in favor of lucrative conditions for the trade unions and the presidential administration🤦🏼♀️

A good idea. In my humble opinion, however, a better name for such an institute would be "Texas Institute of Science & Technology", as technological breakthroughs almost always follow scientific breakthroughs, not vice versa.
