Science is a concept that guides a process, thereby not a thing that can be termed as "the science"

It was an outrage

My guess is that there will be as many Starlink direct to cell phone satellites as there are for our high bandwidth terminals.
As a rough rule of thumb, however, bandwidth will be ~1/10th as high for phones vs a dedicated Starlink antenna (physics is the law). Still a major gamechanger.
ALEX@ajtourville· 30 окт. 2024 г.NEWS: @SpaceX only needs five more Starlink launches to complete the first commercial Direct to Cell (DTC) constellation, according to SpaceX Sr Director of Satellite Engineering Ben Longmier.
Upcoming Starlink launches:
1 → Group 9-10, today
2 → Group 6-77, Sunday

I think @realDonaldTrump winning makes a big difference in humanity getting to Mars and making life multiplanetary.
This might one day save life as we know it.

Why don't people trust the voting process, one that takes days or weeks to fully count and that has things like this "unexpectedly" happening with Dominion machines 5 days before Election Day?
Breaking911@Breaking911· 30 окт. 2024 г.MICHIGAN SEC. OF STATE: “This is a nationwide issue with Dominion voter access terminals...Not all the machines, just the ones that are accessible, have an issue. With the straight-party voting and a programming issue, that’s again affected the machines nationwide.”

The 2024 Pennsylvania Republican vs Democrat vote is now over 500k better than the same day in 2020, when Biden’s victory margin was only 80k!
Moreover, yesterday there were more Republican early votes than Democrat.
Pennsylvania will be a decisive Republican victory.

One thing is very clear this election cycle:
The Trump campaign & surrogates are outworking the total sh*t out of the Harris campaign in media.
Trump, Vance, Vivek, Tulsi, RFK Jr., Elon are all doing a TON of long-form discussions.
Harris campaign in total has done like 5.

Neil deGrasse Tyson is wrong. We didn't stop going to the Moon because Russia wasn't there.
We stopped going to the moon in 1972 because the Apollo program was crazy expensive. The hardware was all single use, throw away in the ocean.
Elon is making spaceflight much cheaper
Ian Miles Cheong@ianmiles· 30 окт. 2024 г.Neil deGrasse Tyson is such a disappointment. He says he doesn’t understand why Elon Musk wants to colonize Mars. How did he become so closed minded?
