Got it. Still, the overall capability will be far superior to any current offerings which is awesome. Will bring peace of mind to a lot of travelers/explorers/nature goers.

On Elon Musk's Twitter:
- Slurs against Black people have tripled
- Slurs against women are up 33%
- Slurs against Jewish people are up 61%
- And slurs against gay men are up 58%
These numbers are abysmal – and unacceptable.
Today, @RepMarkTakano and I are demanding action.

Important to note that this is *total* bandwidth within a cell, so would be divided among all phones.
Starlink will be great for text messages, voice calls & low res pics. If only a dozen phones are active, which is true in remote regions, then video will work.

But the really mind-blowing thing is that this means your phone will work anywhere on Earth, unless blocked by local government!

NEWS: SpaceX says its Starlink service with T-Mobile will be able to provide voice, messaging, & basic web browsing at theoretical peak speeds of up to either 3.0 Mbps or 7.2 Mbps peak upload (Earth-to-space) & up to either 4.4 Mbps or 18.3 Mbps on the downlink (space-to-Earth).
Michael Sheetz@thesheetztweetz· 7 дек. 2022 г.After the FCC last week authorized SpaceX to deploy 7,500 Gen2 Starlink satellites, the company yesterday filed a request to put payloads on 2,016 of those satellites for its direct-to-cell system with T-Mobile to enable coverage "by mid-2024."

November was the worst month for annualized China auto sales in the last 9 years, but Tesla had its best 2nd month in a quarter ever.
Tesla delivered 62,493 vehicles in China in Nov, while 37,798 vehicles were exported. This is 89.73% more than Nov 2021.
Gary Black@garyblack00· 8 дек. 2022 г.Insightful note from Piper’s Alex Potter which sheds some light on $TSLA China situation. Nov 2022 was the worst month for annualized China auto sales in the last 9 years, excl Covid lockdown months. December is typically the strongest month of the year. @MartinViecha @elonmusk

If the goal is transparency to build trust, why not just release everything without filter and let people judge for themselves? Including all discussions around current and future actions? Make everything public now. #TwitterFiles

Pouring some cold water on the latest wave of AI hype: I could be wrong, but my guess is that we do *not* get AGI just by scaling ChatGPT, and that it takes *surprisingly* long from here. Parents conceiving today may have a fair chance of their child living to see kindergarten.
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 7 дек. 2022 г.
To be called AGI, it needs to invent amazing things or discover deeper physics – many humans have done so. I’m not seeing that potential yet.

The FBI’s former attorney was hired by previous Twitter management, and was the one vetting the files to be given to @bariweiss & @mtaibbi that might reveal FBI collusion…and new owner @elonmusk wasn’t told any of this???
Lee Fang@lhfang· 6 дек. 2022 г.Twitter's former top attorney James Baker was formerly an FBI attorney who passed on fake dirt from the Hillary campaign’s operatives in 2016, alleging a secret online portal from Russia's Alfa Bank to Trump. Now attempted to shape the “Twitter Files.”
