Given the latest New York Times article on Polymarket, this seems like a good time to make clear:
• Polymarket is strictly non-partisan. We get told we're Dem operatives and MAGA, depending on the day. Unfortunately the story is much less juicy, we're just market nerds who

David Sacks@DavidSacks· 26 окт. 2024 г.I agree that legacy media has lost most of its relevance, credibility and audience. That said, it still seems to set the terms of the discourse. Most of the debate on X consists of:
- Legacy media asserts A
- Alternative media debunks A

@Starlink was able to turn on emergency SMS for Hurricane Milton affected areas in under 24 hrs.
In the future, I think we can get that down to tens of minutes of reaction time for any area on Earth from 58 deg N to 58 deg S latitudes.

What if Trump wins and nothing bad happens? He doesnt become Hitler.
What if he just does what he’s been saying, works with Elon to reduce our massive govt empire like Milei and stop illegal immigration?
Is there a scenario where Dems and MSM say we were wrong? Or its a fight

The extreme left wing bias of legacy media is because journalists these days are extremely left wing.
They can’t even handle their newspapers not endorsing a candidate and remaining neutral!

Why do people care so much who (if anyone) the Washington Post endorses?
Are there people out there like, “I was going to vote for Harris, but then the Washington Post didn’t explicitly endorse her, so I’m voting for Trump.”

So, as we heard just hours ago, turns out #SpaceX's Booster catch was just a second from an abort that could have had it smashing into the ground next to the tower. Luckily, that is not the reality we now exist in! 👌

A second is a long time to a rocket. Said another way, it was 1000ms or ~50 control cycles away from hitting the tower. Not actually that close.
