Any word on the FSD update for Canada Elon? Is december still likely?
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 26 дек. 2020 г.
There are subtle, important, differences between US & Canada traffic rules, but FSD beta will be extended to Canada very soon

#FSDBeta 8 is by far the best update so far and it’s had huge improvements in areas that it wasn’t as good in. It’s able to handle a four way lane road and make a clean left turn. Fsd beta 8 Christmas Eve drive youtu.be/B_nlDjmROT8 @elonmusk

... but in saying that, @elonmusk referred to this update as "🔥🔥". To be honest, from seeing release notes and videos, i'd rate it 1/2 a 🔥.

It’s one 🔥 or 1/2 🔥 if you don’t have a car with pedestrian speaker. We couldn’t get everything done in time, but more stuff coming.

Unfortunately, pedestrian speaker is needed, otherwise no external sound generator except actual horn

So we can safely conclude that none of your other companies will be going public anytime soon?
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 25 дек. 2020 г.
It will most likely make sense for Starlink to go public once the revenue growth is reasonably predictable

Personally, I think @elonmusk is the best investor of capital and innovator at scale in our generation, and that might be an understatement.
This is an opportunity to create a structure that would optimize his time and interests the most.

Engineering, design & general company operations absorb vast majority of my mind & are the fundamental limitation on doing more.
Capital allocation is important, but low CPU load. Tesla public company duties are a much bigger factor, but going private is impossible now (sigh).

Interesting they are using Pad B this time around. I wonder what the possibility will be of seeing SN10 sitting there on Pad A alongside. 🤣
