A British court imprisoned 18-year-old Martyna Ogonowska for life for stabbing her rapist in self-defense. The court didn’t care that she was acting in self defense and that she had been raped before. The court later denied her appeal to reduce her sentence from 17 years to 12.

my parents were teaching me to read before kindergarten, when i was older my dad would run through the multiplication tables with me over the weekends when we were driving around running errands
