I want to thank @elonmusk for the shorts. He is a man of his word! They did come with some manufacturing defects. #tesla

Chubbies tweeted in response to Musk that they would send the box to Einhorn.
"As long as Elon wants to send short shorts to short sellers we’re going to keep sending."

The last few days have been really hard. I penned an article on @Medium about it. Also, I want to thank @elonmusk for literally saving my life when he replied to one of my tweets.

Love this from P&P: “One has got all the goodness, and the other all the appearance of it.” Reminds me so of my Nana, who was very stern & strict & yet kindest of all. Believe in good.

Those are the new design made of titanium. Doesn’t need heat shielding or even paint.

Hm and any idea when the first software update will be that has content exclusively for full self driving-optioned customers?
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 8 авг. 2018 г.
Sorry, meant to say same timeframe as hardware

Do you have a good idea when Hardware 3 will be introduced and can you confirm that all Hardware 2+ owners will get the new computer for free?
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 8 авг. 2018 г.
Probably 4 to 6 months. Those who order full self-driving get the upgrade at no cost. It isn’t needed just for enhanced Autopilot.

Investor support is confirmed. Only reason why this is not certain is that it’s contingent on a shareholder vote.

At 1st I was upset bc I thought this would be a forced buyout. But if average folk like myself are allowed to reside with the garden walls along with you, then...
Yes please. 👍😎👍
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 7 авг. 2018 г.
Def no forced sales. Hope all shareholders remain. Will be way smoother & less disruptive as a private company. Ends negative propaganda from shorts.

Could we still invest once private?
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 7 авг. 2018 г.
Yes, but liquidity events would be limited to every 6 months or so (like SpaceX)

Or if you do take Tesla private, please have a provision for retail investors who have held Tesla shares prior to Dec 31, 2016 that those shares will be converted into private shares in the new private company. This would be only fair and the right thing to do.
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 7 авг. 2018 г.
Absolutely. Am super appreciative of Tesla shareholders. Will ensure their prosperity in any scenario.

Noooooo!!!! Still processing what this means, but would be sad to see all the investors who've been w/ $TSLA miss out on the upside over the next few years. Although if this helps the mission & Elon thinks it's smart, I understand and fully support
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 7 авг. 2018 г.
My hope is *all* current investors remain with Tesla even if we’re private. Would create special purpose fund enabling anyone to stay with Tesla. Already do this with Fidelity’s SpaceX investment.
