Looking forward to the new paint 🎨 colors coming out of the Giga Berlin Paint Shop!

I was in the Berlin paint shop talking to the team on my last visit. It’s gonna be great!
But bear in mind that it takes about a year for a new factory to reach volume production. Production is super hard work, which is why I have great respect for those who do it.

How does transmitting into a country without a local downlink work on the regulatory side?

Hey, I just saw this on the German Autobahn (A2 near Magdeburg) this morning. It's coming from Austria and might be heading to Hamburg or Rotterdam port.
Looks like a part of a future transport vehicle for getting Starship to the launch pad.
Any other ideas ?

Can we have an update on the Roadster now that plaid with tri motors is out.
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 1 сент. 2021 г.
2021 has been the year of super crazy supply chain shortages, so it wouldn’t matter if we had 17 new products, as none would ship.
Assuming 2022 is not mega drama, new Roadster should ship in 2023.

French astronaut Thomas Pesquet captured spectacular photos of SpaceX's Cargo Dragon capsule firing its Draco thrusters while docking autonomously with the ISS on Monday:

Our satellites launching in next few months have inter-satellite laser links, so no local downlink needed. Probably active in 4 to 6 months.

Technically, data packets do not need to touch regular Internet – data can flow from user terminal to satellite/s to user terminal

Sure, they just need to find a friendly neighboring country who wants to help the US against Taliban so they can deploy a downlink station.

SpaceX responds to Amazon's request that the FCC dismiss the Starlink Gen2 amendment, calling it "a continuation of efforts by the Amazon family of companies to hinder competitors" and referencing Blue Origin's lawsuit against NASA:

As it presses its case against NASA in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, Blue Origin has hired former Amazon consultants linked to the JEDI contracting process.

How will SpaceX catch the booter? What we think is that these points here (one shown in this image by @BocaChicaGal/@NASASpaceflight) will take the load. Very interesting.

Remember the burned X on a frozen lake?
The U.S. Secret Service found that the owner Michael Gonzalez, 32 tricked Tesla's purchasing system. He ordered cars and had them delivered, but never allowed the final payment. He then resold the vehicles to companies and individuals.

Elon, is it worth the engineering time to make the proximity sensor chimes be directionally projected from corresponding speakers in the cabin and with volume relative to distance? Seems we could do better than chimes, too…
